GLASGOW city centre has become synonymous with cosmopolitan style; a sumptuous cocktail of café culture, designer stores, top restaurants and bars backed by stunning architecture. And now Bett Homes is offering househunters the opportunity to live in the heart of the city at its new Fusion development.

The housebuilder – part of the Gladedale Group – has created 201 one and two-bedroom flats at the development which is located close to Central Station, and the new twobedroom show apartment gives potential buyers a taste of what life in a stylish city centre pad could be like.

Visitors will instantly be drawn to the contemporary feel of this home which combines the practicality of a simple layout with innovative interior design. To the front of the property lies the open plan kitchen and living area. A thick red stripe on the white kitchen wall makes a bold style statement and the red theme is continued throughout this relaxing area.

The lounge area features a red leather, three-seater sofa, two armchairs and a glass coffee table. The spacious feel is enhanced with a mirrored wall and a feature wall with six floral canvases which help to create visual impact.

The fully fitted kitchen has wenge wood worktops which contrast with the white high gloss units and the stainless steel Smeg appliances, which include a oven and hob with extractor, a fridge freezer, a washer/dryer and dishwasher.

The hallway, which also has dark wood style flooring, cream walls and a video entry system, leads through to the master bedroom where neutral tones provide a feeling of sanctuary. The cream walls are adorned with a graphic pattern which is discrete and pleasing to the eye. Glass side tables with integrated lighting can be found either side of the double bed. The master bedroom also boasts a fitted wardrobe and cream tiled en-suite with an over-sized shower.

The second bedroom benefits from a monochrome décor which enhances the sense of sophisticated city living. This bedroom accommodates a double bed with glass headboard and also provides plenty of storage space in the form of a fitted wardrobe.

There is also a main bathroom which embodies luxury with white Laufen sanitaryware, Hansgröhe taps and grey slate ceramic Porcelanosa floor-toceiling tiling. It’s the perfect place for pampering after a long day.

The show apartment is located in building C on Oswald Street. One of five buildings that form the development, this block features an original sandstone façade which has been retained to add character to the building above. Dark grey zinc cladding, red sandstone and terracotta tiling have all been specifically chosen to complement the original architecture.

Lorraine Clelland, sales director for Bett Homes (Central Scotland) Ltd, said: “Fusion is an exciting new development. Not only does it occupy a prime location within the city centre but it also offers a stylish range of apartments designed with city living in mind. “Whether as a base for those who regularly visit the city or as a permanent residence for those who thrive on being at the heart of it all, homebuyers are sure to be impressed with this new development.

“The opening of the new show apartment is a perfect window to the development and will give househunters firsthand experience of what life at Fusion can be like.”

PRICES at Fusion, between the Radisson Hotel and the River Clyde, start at £149,995 for one bedroom flats. Two-bedroom apartments are priced from £170,995. The show apartment is open daily, from 11am to 6pm. For further information call the sales office on 0141 221 9125 or visit www.fusion glasgow.co.uk
