CLEARLY, when it comes to inspiring househunters, it seems that two show apartments are better than one. CALA City Ltd are the la test developer to discover that two is better than one and have just opened two new glamorous show apartments at their Glasgow Harbour development.

Both offer an insight into the ad vantages of living in this chic riverside setting and highlight the apartments’ breathtaking views over both the River Clyde and Campsie Fells.

Both apartments have been designed by Strathaven-based interior designer Mandy Stirling, of Emily Ross Interiors, to showcase the light and airy proportions of the properties.

Decorated with the trend setter in mind, one of the apartments, shown here, is decorated in a bold, contemporary style. The living room of this show apartment benefits from views onto the development’s central gardens and beyond to the river. This apartment also features an openplan kitchen which allows keen cooks to enjoy the view while whipping up something tasty.

Colour is a key feature in both show apartments and has been used to great effect, with each displaying it’s own distinct colour palette and mood.

Both of the large double bedrooms in particular make a colourful statement. The master bedroom has a dramatic and sexy feel and has a glamorous bed recess area with a striking red feature wall.

In a refreshing contrast, the second bedroom is decorated in funky lime green and cerise pink – an unlikely colour combination which works remarkably well. Interior designer Mandy Stirling explains: “The apartments at Glasgow Harbour feature fantastic views. For a designer, working with such bright apartments is fantastic and allows you to make some bold design statements.”

A high quality specification is evident throughout all the apartments at Glasgow Harbour. There is a contemporary fusion of natural wood tones, chrome and glass across the fixtures and fittings which is sure to appeal to style conscious buyers. This includes fixtures and fittings by leading manufacturers and designers ncluding streamlined Impuls kitchens by Alno, which combine efficiency and cool, clean style with stainless steel and integrated kitchen by Bosch and Neff.

The bathrooms in both apartments have been designed to offer the ultimate in luxurious bath times and feature limestone flooring complemented by sanitaryware by Laufen, Porcelanosa wall tiling and Kaldewei baths with brassware by Hansgrohe. Glass shelving, heated chrome towel rails and large showers further ensure a contemporary and easy living look throughout.

In addition to the quality of the design, fixtures and fittings, the apartments are fitted to receive satellite television, which provides additional benefits such as CCTV and a video entry system.

The properties also benefit from a brightly lit and secure underground car park which is monitored by CCTV, and all communal areas are well lit and serviced by efficient passenger lifts.

All the comforts needed for modern day living have been considered and there is even a development maintenance coordinator on hand who will assist with the daily running of the development and help residents by taking deliveries while they are out at work and by assisting guests when they come to visit friends or family.

CALA City Limited has a variety of apartments available to view at Glasgow Harbour. The show apartments and marketing suite are open daily, between 11am and 6pm.

In the current release, prices start from: £195,000. For further information, telephone CALA City Limited at Glasgow Harbour on 0141 337 6573.
